The Xindi Arc

Any way you look at it, Star Trek needs story arcs.  Deep Space Nine had the Dominion War Arc that lasted throughout the series except S1.  Now, B&B have finally thought up something lively for Enterprise and completely changed it's pace.  They introduced the xindi, and since then, ratings have been much higher than usual!  I've always loved Enterprise.  But now, I see why I loved it so much.  When I first saw the episode 'Twilight' I thought- 'This is why I love this series.  This is the reason people have given Enterprise a chance.  This is Star Trek at it's finest.  Nothing else really.'

But then came Similitude.

I must say, it was Enterprises finest hour.  It had great acting, great music, great FX, great EVERYTHING!  How was this part of the arc?  Archer had to save Earth with Enterprise with Trip, who was dying.  So Archer took drastic measures, and sacraficed a life for the cause of Earth.  We all know, though, that everything at the end will be all 'Hunky Dory Fine!' at the end of the series- because of all four other series that came before.  Though, I'm still being surprised.  They could kill millions of people- and still not mention their deaths in later series.  Do they mention 9/11 ever in Trek?  Do we watch EVERY MOMENT of Data's life?  No- so, he could talk about it.

My first thoughts on an arc were- 'I hope they pull this through!'.  So far, my wishes have come true.  Enterprise had great potential, and now has even more.
