The Xindi Wars
The Xindi are a complex group of aliens living together in an uncharted region of space known as The Delphic Expanse. They are known for their diverse species within themselves. They are made up of five distinct species- Primape, Aquatic, Reptillian, Sloth-like and Insectoid. They used to have a sixth species, but due to a war involving most species, the sixth, the Avians, were destroyed along side the xindi homeworld. The remaining five species work together in a council. The leader appears to be Degra, a xindi-primape with a bad personality. They are not all evil, though circumstances prove otherwise. Before Starfleet even heard of the Xindi, one day, a xindi probe with one pilot came and cut a swath through Florida, Venesuela, and many other places inbetween. Millions died, and Starfleet's flagship, the NX-01 Enterprise was sent out to find the xindi, because apparently the xindi were building an even greater weapon, one which has the ability to destroy an entire planet: Earth. We do not know what tempted the xindi into such an attack, but we know that they consider humans savage and they were told that humans will destroy their own homeworld in four hundred years. Of all the species, the Insectoids and Reptillians have proven to be the most villainous- and used in many attacks. Even though members of all five species helped in the attack, many havn't even heard of Humans, or anything outside the Delphic Expanse, for that matter. The Xindi-Sloths had no say in the attack, and Grallik, a worker at a mining facility that produces kemocite, was one of them. Kemocite is extremely unstable, and was going to be used in the attack on Earth. But Captain Jonothan Archer convinced Grallik that millions of people died in the attack and an uneasy alliance was formed between them. Later on, the Xindi Reptillians went back in time to Earth in 2004 to deploy a weapon, but were unsuccesful. In any case, captain Archer seemed determined to find the xindi- by any means nessecary.
Later on, as Enterprise came closer to finding the xindi, a species called Triannons came and deleted all information gathered on the spheres. It may have slowed down Enterprise's search. Then Enterprise was encountered by a race the xindi hadn't heard of yet- the andorians. The andorian ship and Enterprise came to a xindi testing ground and witnessed a moon split in two by a test xindi weapon probe. Then the two ships together entered the test site and stole the test probe. Then, once the andorians had it in their cargo bay, they set a course instead for the andorian homeworld, to use in their own war. Though Archer managed to destroy the test probe and take some detailed scans. Enterprise then had enough information to continue. Though, Enterprise didn't go that far. Instead, they stuck around the test site, and waiting hopefully for a xindi ship to arrive. They didn't have to wait long. They disabled Degra, the probe's designer's ship, Enterprise, using Archers acting skills, got Degra to reveal the location of the xindi weapon: Azati Prime. They let Degra go, wiping his memory of the incident. They then set a course for Azati Prime. Though they took a slight detour as they neared a collosal spatial anomaly. A Pod with one life-form was inside the anomaly, and Enterprise dragged it out, and brought it onboard. Inside was an alien from a trans-dimentional shift. He tried to destroy Enterprise but was caught, and, before returning to his space, said "When the xindi destroy Earth, my people will prevail!", adding a whole new mystery to the xindi wars. A member of Enterprise's crew thought the ship was being invaded by xindi insectoids, but it wasn't for real. The ship continued it's course to Azati Prime when, after all this, another delay happened- they came across a crashed insectoid vessel. They investigated, and Archer was hit by a slimey substance that made him subconciously beleive he was the mother of a few xindi insectoid babies that remained alive. The crew got him out just in time, and, without any more delay, headed back towards Azati Prime for the final confrontation in the xindi arc.
Once Enterprise reached Azati Prime, they found that the homeworld was too heavilly guarded, so they hid behind a planet. They destroyed a xindi communications port on the moon and sent a stolen xindi insectoid ship towards Azati Prime. Upon arrival. the crew realized the giant xindi probe was being built in an underwater complex. They took scans and headed back to Enterprise, confirming that the weapon had completed construction. Then Crewman Daniels showed up again, took Archer to the future, and said that the sphere-builders had told the xindi that Earth was a threat, because they would be destroyed by the federation at the battle of Protycon Seven. Daniels insisted that Archer could not risk his life- it was vital that he survived or the Federation would not be formed. Though once returned to his normal time, Archer decided to go on a suicide mission to destroy the xindi probe. Archer took the insectoid shuttle and left for the probe, but was intercepted. Archer was taken by the xindi and was questioned. Xindi Reptillians questioned him, but got nothing. When a xindi reptillian revealed that they knew Enterprise was behind the moon and would be destroyed, Archer said that he would only give answers to Degra, the xindi primate. Degra arrived and Archer partially-convinced him that humans weren't dangerous. Meanwhile, back by Enterprise, the Reptillians and Insectoids attacked Enterprise anyway, and almost destroyed it. The xindi killed 1 third of the crew- will the rest survive? We'll have to wait and see.
It turns out the reptillians had attacked without the approval of the council. They were called off, Enterprise barely hanging in. The council later talks with 'she'- a sphere builder. Enterprise was forced to steal needed parts from an alien ship. The Enterprise warped away to the presence of a sphere, where Degra waited. Degra and a sloth came onboard Enterprise and started talking about a secret alliance. Degra soon met some of the prejudice shown by some of the crewmembers, as they had time to greive over losses. Degra, however, was convinced enough that he destroyed a reptillian ship for Archer. Enterprise then left through a subspace corridor leading to the xindi homeworld. Archer and Hoshi were presented to the council with their evidence. Most of the council was not happy with Archer's proof, but the Reptillians were, making a majority. The Council then agreed to postpone the launch of the weapon. Though, as soon as things were going great, the Reptillians killed Degra, and, with the insectoids, launched the weapon for Earth, taking Hoshi Sato.
Archer tried to take the help of the Aquatics, and with their help agreed to destroy the spheres. Meanwhile, on the weapon, Hoshi Sato was being forced to decode the third launch code before they reached Earth. Enterprise was sent to stop the weapon along with a fleet made up of Arboreal, Aquatic and Humanoid Vessels. They all attacked the sphere, and Hayes and some other MACO's were sent into a Reptillian ship to capture back Hoshi Sato. Once she was recaptured, they were beamed onboard Enterprise. Though- the Sphere-Builders, Guardians to the xindi, unleashed anomolies towards the Fleet, destroying the Aquatic ship, and much of the Arboreal Ships. The weapon then headed into a vortex towards Earth. Archer then realized that he needed Degra's ship to get to Earth to confront the weapon once and for all. Enterprise was sent to destroy 'Sphere 41', a very important sphere. |

Other Aliens
Ossarians: The Ossarians are space-pirates that live throughout the Delphic Expanse, taking advantage of crippled starships entering the Expanse. They say that there is no way to exit the Expanse- but we'll have to wait and see. Rajiin: Rajiin's species has the ability to probe the minds of induviduals. The Xindi Reptillians used one, named Rajiin, to board Enterprise and gather important information with her seductive powers. It is not known, the name of her species just yet Skagaarans: The Skagaarans are an ancient race. Early on, these people took hundreds of humans from Earth during the time of the old west. The people were taken to a planet in the Delphic Expanse to become slaves to work for the Skagaarans. But soon the humans rovolted, and the 'Skags' as humans called them, were treated as lower class beings. After hundreds of years, the NX-01 Enterprise found the colony, and told them about Earth's evolution. The skagaarans were outcasts and even their children were considered evil. But small factions of humans were teaching the Skagaarans school. By the time Enterprise had left, the Skagaarans were now being treated properly. Triannons: A Highly Religeous group of aliens who worship the ancient spheres. They beleive that the anomolies caused by the spheres are part of an alien's plot to turn the land beautiful in preperation for their arrival. When they found out Enterprise had gone near the spheres, they took over the ship, and demanded to sacrafice one crewmember. They are all willing to die for their mythical alien beings. There is also a war going on between two seperate groups of Triannons- only because one beleived the gods took one day longer to build the Expanse. When Enterprise had been taken back by it's crew, captain Jonothan Archer took the Triannons to their homeworld, and demonstrated that their 'quest' for a more peaceful existance has destroyed their entire homeworld. Andorians: The Andorians came to aid Enterprise deep into her mission. They helped take the xindi test-probe but instead took it for themselves as a weapon to use in their own war against the vulcans. Though Archer did not let them take it, and destroyed it, taking with him some valuble scans.
Sphere-Building Aliens: The triannonsbeleive that the aliens who created the spheres come from another realm. They are beleived to be 'god-like beings' who are re-shaping the universe to their liking, starting with the expanse. The anomolies are a result of their attempts, according to the Triannons. Though, when Enterprise found one of these beings, the Triannons beleifes were proved to be somewhat based in fact. The beings can walk through walls, and look strangely like the suliban. Could 'Future Guy' be a sphere-building alien? We'll wait and see...
Xindi: The xindi are a species made up of five distinct parts: the insectoids, the arboreals, the primates, the aquatics and reptillians. They had a war with each other, and in that war, managed to destroy their homeworld entirely. Then, when someone warned about humans, apparently a very argessive species, they banded together and started the xindi wars.
Vulcans: The vulcans are an emotionless people who fear to enter the Expanse. They use logic and very strong mind tricks to control their emotions. They all become zombie-like creatures while exposed to Trellium Ore- and seem to be in an alliance with the humans.
Denobulans: Only one denobulan has been reported in the Expanse. His name is Phlox, and also works with the humans. He IS NOT TO BE TRUSTED. He is their chief medical officer though and if killed a large reward will be given.
It is known that there are many other species in the Delphic Expanse, but not any information is known about them.
Humans
As said above, the humans were only known to the xindi when they discovered the humans would destroy their homeworld in four hundred years. They, with the knowledge of this, started planning a preemtive strike on the humans homeworld, Earth. They sent a small probe with a reptillian pilot in it towards the Earth- and managed to sut a swath down the center of it, killing millions. But this was just a test-probe. In reallity, they were making a much larger one to annihilate the human race. The humans- in retaliation to this- launched a single primitive vessel with a man named 'Archer' in it to seek out the xindi. They were told by a species called Suliban about the xindi. The human ship has not yet been destroyed. They have managed to find a xindi at a mining facility, survive the anomolies WITHOUT Trellium-D, and survive mutation into another species. They have even canibalized a large shipment of Kemmocite that was to be used on the weapon. They have also found a village of humans in the Delphic Expanse. Reports say they were hurtled into a Delphic Expanse dust cloud, but STILL managed to escape alive. They also have stopped xindi operations on their home planet in Solar year 2004. Humans are very unpredictable, and untrustworthy in this regeon of space.
